Day 1: Marrakech

On the 10 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Imperial Cities. Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel / Riad. Afternoon free to enjoy the intense activity of the Plaza de DJemaa el Fna, declared an oral heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Day 2: Marrakech – Chaouen

At the time that seems appropriate, we will pick you up at the door of the hotel / riad and we will head towards Chefchaouen, city founded in the s. XV by the Nasrids from Granada, a faithful reflection of the lost paradise. Narrow tortuous streets of white and indigo houses, centennial mosques and murmur of water among their old stones. Free afternoon to visit the streets of this beautiful town at your own pace, until the time when we are to have dinner. Dinner and accommodation in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chaouen – Fes

After breakfast and at the time that seems appropriate, we will head to Fes. We will skirt the forest of Mamora, on the way to Meknes. This city reached its apogee thanks to Sultan Mulay Ismail. At 27 km from Meknes are the archaeological site of the Roman city of Volubilis. Continue to Fes. Dinner and accommodation in hotel / riad in Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Midelt

After breakfast we will make a guided tour of Fes to see the most interesting and representative places of this city, after this visit we will leave from Fes towards Midelt. We will pass through Ifran, known as the Switzerland of Morocco located in the middle Atlas. We will continue our way to the desert, knowing the legendary forest of Cedros de Azrou and its curious inhabitants (monkeys).

We will continue until we reach Midelt where we will stay. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Midelt – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast we leave for Merzouga (desert). We will leave Midelt crossing the mountains of Tizi N’Tlghomt, we arrive at the Errachidia reservoir and the magnificent panorama of the Ziz valley, full of palm trees and Berber adobe villages. Arrival in Erfoud this city is built as one of the most important oases in Morocco.

After we continue our way to the Erg-Chebbi desert of Merzouga, where is our hotel La Source.donde and leave the 4 × 4 there, then, in the afternoon we will ride the 8 × 8 (are the camels) that will take us to the heart of the desert where we will contemplate an unforgettable sunset. Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Ouarzazate

We will get up early to witness the sunrise between the dunes. Then we will return to our Hotel La Source, and after a copious breakfast and a refreshing shower, we will go to Ouarzazate. On the way we will visit the Todra Gorge near the town of Tinerhir, at the end of a valley of palm trees and adobe villages surrounded by rugged and barren mountains. It is one of the most famous natural sights of Morocco, whose walls narrow and rise, as if they were hands about to applaud, more and more abrupt, until reaching 300 m in height. Being a paradise for lovers of climbing. After the visit we will continue towards Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

We will have breakfast and continue our way to Marrakech. During the route we will pass by Berber villages like Boutaghar and Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of the palms. On the way we will stop to see the panoramic view of the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987), a fortified enclosure within a walled town that you will surely recognize, since this citadel has been the scene of very famous films .

In the town of Telouet, we will visit his kasbah, a small jewel hidden in the middle of the atlas, which was part of the ancient sub-Saharan caravan route to Marrakech. And that turned the Glagua, the inhabitants of this region, into a powerful tribe, by controlling this mountainous pass and thus monopolize the services of escort and supply to the caravans.

Day 8: Marrakech – Essaouira

Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech

Wonderful experience
